Atlanta hip-hop legend Sean P East from Youngbloodz has teamed up with Georgia based recording artist Crucifix for the release of his new music video for "Sidewayz". The song was originally recorded in 2013 and appears on Crucifix's debut album "Acid Reign" as a tribute to fallen family and friends who have passed away. On June 30th, 2020 Sean P East lost his mother after a hard fought battle with dementia and the song took on new meaning for Sean P East. To commemorate her memory the duo rode across the country from Georgia to Colorado to scatter her ashes in the beauty of the mountains and filmed a video for the song to document their journey.

"Ten years ago, Sean P of Youngbloodz and I wrote a song to capture the feelings of loss they had experienced losing people they loved," remembers Crucifix. "A decade later Sean lost his mother to Dementia, so we rode across the country to scatter her ashes in the mountains of Colorado, and capture Sean's final moments with her using that song."

Born in Atlanta Georgia, raised in Central and East Africa, Cruce spent most of his early childhood bouncing from continent to continent, soaking in a wide influence of music, language and culture. It's these experiences that continue to fuel his art to this day. Having worked with a wide array of artists, Crucifix's unique and signature sound can be heard on tracks with the likes of Bubba Sparxxx, The Lacs, Tech N9ne, Jelly Roll, Rittz, Madchild, Twiztid, Boondox, Sean Paul of Youngbloodz, Moonshine Bandits, Goodie Mob and Nappy Roots among other. Appearing on MTV, VH1 and radio across the globe.
