Introspection and self deprecating humility take the foreground on this project. Sonically and lyrically encapsulating the angst and joy of life in the gritty glamour of New York City through the eyes of a fatherless black boy becoming a man. From drug abuse, pain and black plight to hope, understanding and self appreciation this work is a glance into the window of the mind of Hugh Hundo.

Three brothers known as The Gore Boyz are releasing Pop and Hip Hop music and making change in the midst of a global pandemic. Despite their age, Herman, Edwin and Sean Michael have already racked up some amazing experiences and cultivated a great deal of talent. Their single “Spend A Bag” is a true testament to their skill and a reason to keep an eye out for them in the coming days.
The Gore Boyz have been making music for almost a decade, an impressive feat considering their ages; Herman being 19, Edwin being 17 and Sean Michael only 15 years old. Sean Michael explained how they got their start. “When I was in kindergarten, Edwin was in second grade and Herman was in fifth grade, Herman wanted to be in the school talent show. He wasn’t very good though, so our dad got someone named Earl Vernon to teach me how to play the drums, Herman, how to get better at piano and Edwin, how to play theguitar. We played “Waiting On The World To Change” by John Mayer and got first place in the talent show.”
Since then, the group has gone on to play for and work with artists such as Usher, Justin Beiber, Jackson Five, Justin Beiber and more. Sean Michael described his favorite experience. “My favorite experience was when I got to sing on stage with Justin Beiber on his Purpose Tour. I auditioned and was picked over 20,000 people to be a backup dancer for him.” Edwin explained how he enjoyed their experience in Hawaii. “I really enjoyed it because we got to see all the locals and have a great time, and everyone went crazy when we performed.” Herman’s favorite experience was when they got to meet the Jackson 5. “We got to perform at the Tom Joyner Reunion and they brought us backstage to hang out with the Jackson 5.”
The Gore Boyz have a sound that blends Motown, Newschool, Pop, Hip Hop and R&B to create a sound all their own. Their latest single “Spend a Bag” is a great example of this and an amazing song overall. The song focuses on what it’s like taking a girl out and all of the money that dates cost, a very relatable concept. The group was able to work with a collection of big names to put the project together. “The recording experience was amazing. We were flown out to LA and we recorded the song in Frank Sinatra’s studio.”
As well as being busy releasing music, The Gore Boyz have also been hard at work giving out COVID-19 care packages to people with immunodeficiency and performing a virtual concert to raise money for Morehouse College, where Herman is pursuing a pre-medical degree. This was in response to the school’s decision to start cutting salaries and positions at the school.
“Our goals moving forward are to influence young minds to do good in the community and have a positive influence.”

The UK’s own Rex Brezie delivers a refreshing fusion of lyrical poignancy, vocal calm and creative production to the contemporary hip hop scene with this latest single.
Driving with a quickly engaging, smooth and subtle yet recognizable voice, and a compressed, warm beat that feels nostalgic by nature, Pain and Tears is a deeply human, honest and endearing piece of writing and performance, with a mellow, mildly humble presentation, which allows the depth of the lyrics to really reach out.
Kicking into gear with the song’s hook, there’s immediately a rhythmic and memorable moment to cling to as a listener. This line is optimistic, yet it talks with a certain air of realness – the journey isn’t easy, but it’s not something to ever give up on.
Brezie’s verses further this inspiring, motivational core with more detail about the artist’s own journey in life and music. The whole thing moves along and resolves in a satisfying, addictive fashion – circling around and embracing listeners like a classic hip hop anthem for deep thinkers should.
This calm and collected approach is like a breath of fresh air right about now – the Verb T-esque subtlety and clever bars lay bare a new story in a quietly striking way; as opposed to the heavy beats, quirks and volume found elsewhere in the scene in recent years.
Rex Brezie makes himself known in a smart way, and this track proves a worthy introduction.

Rill Lehigh is a rising 26 year old aspiring Hip-hop artist from Miami, Florida. Although he only recently began releasing his original music to the public, he already counts his number of listeners in the thousands.
From the heavy rotation his single “Flight Risk” has racked up, to the streams his current single is enjoying on YouTube, Rill Lehigh is obviously not just a clever stoner name.
Although freestyling with his friends was never anything serious, this was a crucial part of his life because he discovered his love for music and began to form the hobby at this time. Once Covid spread across the country, Rill found the time on his hands to pick up a microphone and begin recording music he had written. He records under the rap and hip-hop genre, however he stated in an interview that some people hear a hint of death metal in his music.
Rill Lehigh recorded songs with the Brooklyn drill rapper Max Tha Demon. Some of their tracks even caught the attention of rapper Fat Joe, who decided to do a feature on it. Rill’s most successful track is titled “Shining in the Drought” which is a music video that accumulated over 40,000 streams on Spotify since November. There are many artists that have inspired Rill Lehigh throughout his musical career. Some of these artists being Beanie Siegel, Chief Keef, and 50 Cent.
“Shining in the Drought” is Rill’s latest single and video. The track rides on a slow and low Trap beat. As an 808 kick bounces slowly through the beat, atmospheric keys float in the periphery. The track has a foggy sci-fi vibe. To match the song’s dark groove, Lehigh’s voice grumbles through stories of life on the street. It’s about winning at a losing game. It is a hard and dark narrative that feels real, and authentic.
Lehigh’s voice is charismatic and unique laid atop of a slow yet groovy trap beat and an almost airy piano motif that creates the perfect contrast to the otherwise dark story.

Memphis has been on fire for years but the recent years have been something exciting for the industry. Giving the world a gang of hit records and major industry heavyweights like Dolph, MoneyBagg and Blac Youngsta it's clear that Memphis is a different breed and has the world's attention. It makes perfect sense why Archangel's new song "VI" has been gaining so much traction and receiving the love that it has so far. Archangel is smart, he made a dope ass anthem for a city that is on the tip of everyone's tongue. Memphis, Tennessee is his home and he is giving the outside world a glimpse into it. Push play and go on a journey with Archangel. If you love hard-hitting, deep low end beats with funky ass strings, topped with that M-Town bounce full of bars then this ones for you.
Santa Sallet, real name Yannick Sallet, is a rapper and producer based in Washington, DC.
Nostalgic for hip-hop’s golden era, and inspired by a worldly upbringing, Sallet’s sound is confident, versatile, and playful. Unified by a consistent flow and anecdotal lyrics, his self- produced mixtape “Plutography” is experimental and eclectic, blending salsa beats, southern trap and eastern jazz with classic and conventional rap samples.
Storytelling through rap, Sallet’s first three albums chronicle his failures and successes with money, music, business, and relationships. His first album “C.R.E.A.M”, along with accompanying mixtape Plutography, recounts his journey from broke to financially free. His successive albums “Women” and “R.A.P.”, also with accompanying mixtapes, describe his pursuit of success in relationships and the music industry.
Sallet counts rappers Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Redman, and Will Smith as creative influences. Busta Rhymes holds particular weight - as a child in South Africa, Sallet saw the “Gimme Some More” music video on TV after school and was instantly struck. He soon started rapping, and after enrolling at a French school in Johannesburg, began producing beats with long-time collaborator and French producer Nemizzo. Together they founded Mugisha Sallet Productions (MSP).
Growing up in a rap era focused on stunting and fake wealth, Sallet’s music aims to balance authenticity with ambition and true success - emblematic of similar contemporary artists such as J. Cole and ASAP Rocky. Highly driven by a fusion of creativity, logic, and financial freedom, Sallet dedicates his music to becoming a roadmap for “the hustlers, the people grinding, for the people who want more in life. For the people who want to be smarter, faster, stronger, richer, just more free.”
Born in Roseau, Dominica to a black Caribbean mother and white French father, fluent in French and English, Santa Sallet had a mixed cultural upbringing. By aged 20, the artist had lived in multiple cities and countries across South Africa, USA, and Canada. A songwriter and piano player, Sallet’s childhood was a musical one. His mother, a flutist, often played bassy reggae around the house, and his father, an avid guitar player, always championed Sallet’s talent. Sallet had a knack for poetry, too, winning local and national poetry competitions as a child.
As a businessman and entrepreneur, Sallet follows his father’s advice: “Measure twice, cut once.” The artist’s plan for success focused on building a winning music team, meanwhile playing the 9-to-5 game to see just how quickly he could climb and conquer the corporate ladder. In his own words, “a good leader should learn what it means to be an employee.” Now, with a trilogy of albums in production and an unshakeable drive for stardom, Sallet’s ready for the world to know his name.
This year, Santa Sallet is coming in hot. Check out his recent single, “Fuck With Me”, and sign up for new music updates at www.santasallet.com.
