MaYoun Introduces MaYoun Music as Music that Makes A Difference

MaYoun is an artist that aim’s for more than just creating good music for you to listen to and have a good time. He takes pride in the idea that his music is about making a difference in the world. It’s about setting an example. It’s about people seeing an artist from a small country town in Arkansas who did it the right way – who walked away from selling drugs and becoming involved in gangs and instead chose to put his energy and passions into making truly original music. And out of that success MaYoun has given back to his community, using his platform to bring awareness to the ills of the world and encouraging younger generations to think about the consequences of their actions and poor decisions.

His new Single “Same Lil N*gga” puts that originality on full display. He took part in working with HitCo Records’ very own Aaron Reid in the production of this track as well as 2 other singles, “Best Now” and “Trophies” set to release simultaneously. The three songs they created express the versatility and various exploratory sounds that MaYoun brings to the industry. They’re new sounds – authentic, with real flows and real lyrics that connect with people from all walks of life. They worked together to create slow songs, fast songs, party songs, introspective songs and just about everything else in between. Mayoun and his management team have launched their own record label company self-titled “MaYoun Music LLC” which is currently under the direction of super-producer, Christopher Starr, Founder and CEO of CSP Music Group, who leads a team of diverse industry professionals that has assisted in the sales of over 350 million records.

When asked who his influences were, Mayoun mentioned musical legends such as Micheal Jackson, Snoop Dogg, and Bobby Wormack. That’s an odd range of artists to place into that category but he went on to explain that each of those musicians expressed themselves in ways that he could relate. “Micheal Jackson placed his political views and concepts within his music. Snoop Dogg uses his platform to show his newly defined image. Bobby Wormack expressed his emotions towards women through a lyrical love language.” How could we deliver a genre of music that catered to an audience so vast? MaYoun’s music is the answer to that. It is the kind of music that can appeal to so many different audiences that it cannot be classified into just one genre. It cannot be defined by one set of preconceived structures because there never has been anything like him. The songs and sounds from this crafty artist, now residing in Texas, are so unique that it’s almost like he’s making an a-la-carte radio station for each and every listener in the world.

“I really just want people to know that there is still versatility in music,” MaYoun said. “I have a melodic sound though it’s not a sound that you’d be used to hearing right now. It’s different and it stands out. I feel like I have the sound of today but I’m always putting the substance of early 2000s in there that everybody loves. I always try to keep some kind of substance and teach something or express something I’ve been through in a way that people can relate to it. Giving back is the whole idea behind MaYoun Music. I’m an artist who really just loves music and wants to use my platform to help my community and make a difference on things that are going on in the world. I haven’t always been a squeaky clean guy but I decided to go a different route, and God has blessed me to have music that could influence others as well.”

Paul BornaStar Takes It “Outside” With A New Hit

When Texas-based rapper/producer Paul BornaStar speaks, the people listen. With a commanding presence on every track, he steps out with a style that doesn’t go unnoticed. After being down and out for some time, he returned to music with a renewed focus, and looks to take his career to another level. After making waves in 2020, he turns it up even more with his first release in 2021 titled, “Outside”.

Featuring his own production, Paul BornaStar gets into some tough talk on “Outside” with the opening lyric as he shares his observation that no one wants to approach him outside. Armed with a melodic delivery, he calls out those who throw words his way, but are never the type to confront him in person. Whether they are his opps or social media taunters, he makes it clear that they are all just putting on a show, and he can sense their fear of him. “Outside” was released on March 10, and has been enjoying thousands of plays across various digital music streaming outlets. Paul BornaStar plans to provide additional content in support of “Outside” including a music video.

Born in New Orleans and raised in Denton, Texas, Paul BornaStar found his love for music early in life. He was a member of church and school choirs growing up, but his love for music took on more life when he developed songwriting and beat making skills. He pursued a music career following his graduation from high school, and was signed to Bentley Records under the stage name “King Pablo” soon after. Sadly, his career took a halt some time later after being sentenced to county jail. After his release, he made the decision to turn his life around, and take his career more seriously. Now under the new name Paul BornaStar, he is ready to take on the world with new music, and let his talent shine even more.

Dacksfiness was born in raised in Brooklyn, NY, on Nov 3rd, 1994. Darrion, aka Dacks (DacksFiness), is of Panamian and Jamaican descent, which only diversifies his love and passion for music and culture. DacksFiness is an artist and creative enthusiast who can connect the dots and bring many worlds together throughout his childhood.DacksFiness passion for music and dance started at an early age playing the piano and starting dance classes. DacksFiness grew up dancing to dancehall, embracing his Caribbean roots while being a sponge to Hip Hop in the early 2000s.

Dacksfiness is a rapper and singer and a percussionist who played in a world ensemble (African bass drum) in high school at Charles Schumer. Nonetheless, DacksFiness was a name given by his obsession with purchasing Dax hair grease from local Brooklyn beauty supply stores. He added the word Finess to show describe his charismatic demeanor and his rapport within his community. Dacks was into music, dance, poetry and an honor roll student from a strict Caribbean household. Straight from High school directly to the military, this transition led to his discovery of life's essential rules.

Dacks is a known military veteran who turned his many lessons into wise decision making while navigating the gritty streets of Brooklyn, NY. An authentic humanitarian and performer are looking to bring change through his music and his overall messaging. During his time in the military, Dacks learned patience, discipline and learned to analyze every person. He knew how they react and then transitioned his pain or struggle through poetry and songwriting, which led to his self-published book "Beyond All Endeavors" available on Amazon.

Dacksfiness considers a break in his career through his talent booker position on Brooklyn's local radio station "DTF Radio." In the process of his growth he networked his way into the music industry. DacksFiness believes music is everything and music is a vibration in anyone's life. His musical influences vary from rappers such as Jay Z to Movado, to 2Pac to Bob Marley. His First time making music was with Pop Smoke DJ "JP" DJ JP started his studio. Inspired by Drake, Dacks suggested getting on a Drake Type beat and created AMP, which was his first track ever laid down. The first track, Dacks, will be Apologize alongside his new EP, "TOP SPOT," which will release in Feb 2021.

DacksFiness states," I never seen myself as a music artist. I always was the behind the scenes person working on the scenes. I love, you know, just helping people grow, being better, you know, making sure they straighten the industry, making sure the music is proper to make you shouldn't go so that they sound good to be because we want to hear matters."
