"25" // Brandon Mitchell drops inspirational banger dedicated to young bball star, Mark Mitchell Jr
06 MayUSA Blog Network
With the playoffs underway, the world of basketball is in
need of a fresh, new anthem. Something energizing; that’ll power the players
down the court, and lift us spectators out of our seats. To say the least,
Brandon Mitchell brings all of the above with “25”: a two-minute banger
dedicated to Mark Mitchell Jr of the Bishop Miege basketball team. As
relentlessly as Mark ravages the court in the accompanying highlights from his
2018-2019 Freshman year, Brandon Mitchell obliterates the mic. He uses “25” to
praise God, acknowledge his growth, and yearn for victory and prosperity; all
through a well-time flow rippling across a menacing trap beat. Both the energy
and message of this record are at an incomparable high; and that makes it an
ideal anthem for this sport. For, not only will you feel “25” in your body,
with its booming instrumental dribbling through your bones; but you will
likewise feel this Kansas City lyricist’s words, destined to drive your spirit
on and off the court.
