At the age of 18, Jessica Sevier has written many songs deemed mature beyond her years. By combining elements of rock, country, and indie, Jessica has been linked to artists such as Stevie Nicks and Bruce Springsteen. After the release of her first single “Ghost of Tom” in August, Jessica has been accumulating a large following, and is set to release new music this coming year. After working in the studio for most of 2019, Jessica is ready to give the music industry a taste of her fresh sound. The Band of the Hawk gives thanks to all the Hawks worldwide with a brand new album from their lead lyricist, Yeaux Majesty. PRINCELY ROBES, produced entirely by Noah Archangel, is the first solo project from Yeaux Majesty since he changed his name from KING in 2017. The project features 10 new tracks with a couple features from fellow Hawks Juskwam and Spear Chukka. Unlike the previous releases, PRINCELY ROBES has a unique sound, dubbed “Southern Fried Boom Bap”. They keep the nitty gritty 90’s sounds, but overlay it with some futuristic sounds and that southern 808 bass. Songs like “God’s Children” & “King Midas” give you that classic New York feel. Then comes tracks like “Turds” and “Hueston Gospel” sound new but still restore the feeling of something real. Plus the usual BOHUP skit rounds off the record. Liberian-born recording artist and former Kansas City Linebacker, Tamba Hali, released the latest Relumae Records single “Swag” from Liberian superstar Faithvonic featuring Tamba Hali. The Masterkraft-produced track finds Tamba and Faithvonic vibing to the heavily percussive Afrobeat soundscape. The video which had its broadcast premiere with BET International, beautifully captures the country of Liberia, as almost all of Tamba’s videos do. “Swag” is the second single from Tamba’s upcoming project LIBERIA, a compilation featuring entirely Liberian artists, released via Relumae Records. “Swag” is available everywhere now.
On the new track, Tamba says: "I’ve never worked with such a talented individual like Faithvonic, she’s very artistic from her wardrobe to her music, and I love her ambition about philanthropic work. I was excited to be working with her the entire time, going around different radio station in Liberia promoting the music. Today fast-rising Toronto-based indie soul / disco / funk / house duo Tush release their new single, the slow-burning, dancefloor-ready "Don't Be Afraid". Powered by esteemed vocalist Kamilah Apong and musician Jamie Kidd (DJ and co-founder of premiere Toronto club promoter Box of Kittens), Tush is a Toronto band that masterfully fuse their love of house, disco, funk and soul music, rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the city's best live acts. Their new gospel-infused disco track is propelled by lead singer Kamilah Apong's powerful vocals. Red. Blue. Green. Toronto-based rapper Spark Houston’s polychromatic worldview is on full display on his lead single “Shoot to Kill” from his forthcoming EP, Red. Scathing bars rattle through the trunk thumping dance beat. “This is mine and you won’t take it from me” is how he describes it. The competitive nature of Hip Hop has always been at the forefront, and Houston doesn’t shy away from it in the slightest. Shoot to kill or, rather, the act of “shooting” is entirely metaphorical for Houston. He raps about “shooters in the back coming” and not wanting to have to “bust back”, by utilizing poetic devices to underscore the competitive, dog-eat-dog nature of the genre in which he resides. He “shoots to kill” in all that he does within the scope of music, very clearly understanding that every “shot” taken is not to be taken for granted. If the goal of indie buzz rapper Spark Houston is to stand amongst giants, then one must stand tall, shoulders back and ready for all comers.

Kache Monet has been making music for years, but is getting in touch with his African roots with his latest single, “I Know.”

Nathaniel The Great is a recording artist and songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Musiq Soulchild, Usher and Donny Hathaway ere some of his musical influences early on.
